Holiday Break

Starting Friday, December 19th I am on winter break from school! YAY! No classes until January 5th! Check back then for updates on Morgan's Christmas.

6 month check-up

Morgan went to the doctor yesterday for her 6 month check-up. She got 4 shots in the legs, but handled it quite well. She is 29 inches long and weighing in at a whopping 20 pounds! She is just above the 95th percentile for her weight and she is OFF THE CHARTS for her height!! Hence, the new carseat that we had to buy her last weekend :-) She is growing up too fast. Over the weekend, Morgan discovered her tounge, which she now sticks out any chance she gets. It's really funny. She has also learned to shake her head, "No" but she doesn't know what it means. She just thinks it's funny. We are so excited for Christmas, we can't wait to see all the family!

Happy Thanksgiving

This year our family is thanful for so many things. We are thankful for Morgan, our health, our new home, and our wonderful families.

Lots of Firsts

This was a big weekend for Miss Morgan. She has learned to roll over from her belly to her stomach and has begun eating baby food. This was her first experiance with green beans. I don't think they are her favorite...yet! She's a messy eater :-)

Halloween

Morgan had a Happy Haloween! Grandma Linda and Grandpa Gary got Morgan her first pair of shoes and a "chewy man" teething ring. Trick or Treat :-)

Fall Pics!

Little Lady

Cousin Shira came over this past weekend and took some pictures of Miss Morgan. I think this one is absolutley precious! She is wearing the dress and hat that Grandma Linda made for her.

Fall Weather

Morgan loves to be outside, it always makes her happy to be outside on the deck or taking a walk in the stroller. Morgan especially loves this fall weather with the cool air on her face and all the bight colors.

Columbia Univeristy NYC

Uncle Dan and Aunt Jill sent Morgan a Columbia University NYC T-shirt right after she was born. She is finally big enough to wear it, and she looks so cute in blue. It brings out her eyes. NYC is a long way to go for college, hopefully she sticks close to home and her mommy! But that is a few years off :-)

Cousins

Cousin Claire helped babysit Miss Morgan the other day. They had a great time together, Claire's only complaint was that it was too short!

4 month check-up

I took Morgan to the doctor yesterday for her 4 month check up. She received 3 shots in the legs :-( and one oral medication. The doctor weighed and measured her, and she is in the 95th percentile for weight and height. For those of you who aren't sure what 95th percentile means, it means that out of 100 babies only 5 would be bigger than her! She's a big healthy girl! The doctor said she was very well proportioned and doing everything a 4 month old should do!

Halloween is going to suck this year!

Morgan loves her bouncing activity center! She is finally big enough to play in it, but her attention span is short, so she only likes it for a little bit at a time :-)

Dan and Jill sent Ben a new Flip video recorder for his birthday! If you've never seen one they are super cool, and they fit in your pocket! I love it.

Morgan had her two month check up with the doctor this morning, which included 3 shots and an oral medication. Morgan did not like the shots at all, and she let the entire doctors office know it :-) Poor thing! Anyways, they also measured her height and weight. She now weighs in at 12 pounds 5 ounces and is in the 75th percentile for weight. She is 24.25 inches long and that's the 95th percentile!!! So...she's a big girl! Maybe she'll be a model when she grows up with height like that :-) The doctor also said she thinks her eyes will stay blue, she can thank her Grandpa Kennedy for that! Besides that, the doctor said she looked great!

Purple Bird Designs

Uncle Matt sent Morgan a special plate in the mail, and she loves it! It's from Purple Bird Designs and the lady that makes these does special order ceramics. It's a neat website, I have added the link to my blog on the right if you want to check it out. I think it makes for a very special gift :-)

Morgan had her new friend Calvin over to her house to play! They had a great time!

Bumbo

Morgan is strong enough to hold her head up (most of the time) so now she can sit in her Bumbo chair. She likes to sit and listen to mommy read her stories!

Missy Pie!

Morgan is doing so many new things these days, she is smiling all the time and she makes the sweetest cooing sounds! She also loves to look at herself in the mirror, she thinks the baby on the other side is so much fun! In this pic. Morgan just got a bath and is awaiting a diaper :-)
