So we gave Morgan an ice cream cone in the car. This is what we get. She ate the whole thing, and when she got to paper covered stem of the cone I had to take it away from her just long enough to take the paper off. You would have thought the world was coming to an end by the way she screamed. She stopped immediately after being given the cone back :-) She's definitely our little girl, she LOVES her ice cream!

1 Year Pics!

I had Morgan's 1 year pictures done at her Great Grandma Beutler's house, needless to say, she wasn't in the best of moods! She didn't want anything to do with the photographer, and he tried SO hard, she didn't want me to put her down, and she refused to smile!! So...these are the pics we got, and I am happy that at least some of them turned out good! Jordan Valley

Morgan and I met up with Calvin and his mom Becky for a play date last week! We went to play in the fountains in Jordan Valley Park. There were so many kids there playing and having a great time. It was a little overwhelming for Morgan, getting splashed in the face isn't her favorite, but walking in the shallow wading pools was fun. Calvin and her enjoyed some snacks on a blanket together in the park, and exchanged snacks, Morgan found out she likes raisins.
Later that day Ben found a turtle on the road so he stopped and picked it up for Morgan. She liked him so much she wanted to touch his head, but the turtle wouldn't let her.
