Crawling is Exhausting

Keeping up with Morgan these days is a chore! But fun! She crawled from the living room into the kitchen, under the dining table. She thought she was clever. She is pulling up on everything, which is scary becuase lots of things she pulls on aren't stable enough to hold her, or can turn over easily. This is such an eye opening experience as far as babyproofing goes. Gone are the days where I could step out of the room and expect Morgan stay put :-)

Weekend Fun!

This weekend was a fun one! Morgan got to play with her friends Jackson and Austin on Saturday, and she finally learned to crawl. She acts like she's known how to do it the whole time. My favorite part was when she started chasing Marley for his bone! Marley though it was fun too, for awhile! Morgan also had a little run in with the toy box. As you can see, she is pulling up on everything, and after pulling up, she let go and came down a little too close and bumped her eye. She has a little scratch and a bruise, but she is ok!

Baby Bowl

Morgan enjoyed her first superbowl with lots of friends! From left to right in front is Jackson (11 mo.), Morgan (8 mo.), Isaac (2 yrs.), in back from the left is Austin (2yrs.)

and Sydney (18 mo.) It was a great time!

Tounge

I know it's been awhile since I updated my pics. Here's Morgan with her tounge out. She uses it a lot these days to feel her NEW tooth! And for other sorts of things like showing off the food in her mouth and spitting food out, as well as tasting anything she can put in her mouth. She is trying her hardest to crawl and pull up on anything in site, including Marley. Poor Marley, he's such a trooper.

Christmas Pictures

We had a wonderful Christmas this year. Morgan loved opening presents and really suprised Ben and I with how excited she got! She loved all the paper ripping and bows. Being with family was really fun. Morgan got to see all her aunts, uncles, and cousins. Ben and I also had a nice break from work. Over the past weekend we have been finishing the bathroom in our basement. Ben did a wonderful job on the tile and he is getting ready to set the sink and toilet in place!
